About Our Hospital
Kindred Hospital Chattanooga is a 49-bed long-term care facility accredited by The Joint Commission. We specialize in providing care for medically complex, chronically ill patients. Traditionally, these patients have been treated in the ICUs of acute care hospitals.
The Chattanooga facility includes:
- 4-bed TCU with Cardiac monitoring capabilities
- 3 negative-airflow rooms, including 1 in TCU
- in-room dialysis in 9 patient rooms
- comprehensive clinical laboratory services, including blood gases
- full pharmacy services
- radiology, including ultrasound
- rehab services – physical, occupational, and speech therapy
- an interdisciplinary patient care model
The intense interdisciplinary environment of Kindred Hospital Chattanooga is designed to allow physicians, nurses, therapists, nutritionists, social workers and other staff members adequate time and resources for close monitoring and clinical analysis of patients. As a relatively small, specialized hospital, we can provide very focused and personal care to each and every patient.
