• About Our Hospital

Kindred Hospital Chattanooga is a 49-bed transitional care hospital providing specialized long-term acute care to medically complex patients who require continued care and extended recovery time. Traditionally, our patients come to us from the ICUs of acute care hospitals. Our hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and offers:

    • 4-bed TCU with cardiac monitoring capabilities
    • 3 negative-airflow rooms, including 1 in TCU
    • in-room dialysis in 9 patient rooms
    • comprehensive clinical laboratory services, including blood gases
    • full pharmacy services
    • radiology, including ultrasound
    • rehab services – physical, occupational, and speech therapy
    • an interdisciplinary patient care model

The intense interdisciplinary environment of Kindred Hospital Chattanooga is designed to allow physicians, nurses, therapists, nutritionists, social workers and other staff members adequate time and resources for close monitoring and clinical analysis of patients. As a relatively small, specialized hospital, we can provide very focused and personal care to each and every patient.

We offer the level of expertise and experience necessary to restore patients to the highest level of functioning possible.
